The BIA NSW Brokerage Program
New funding packages have recently been made available for people living with a brain injury in NSW. The funding packages are supported by Brain Injury Association NSW and are designed for one-off purposes specifically, not to support ongoing costs. The amount of funding can vary, however the maximum amount available per package is $5,000 (plus GST) per person.
The Funding applications vary and can be used to assist in a range of areas including intensive rehab programs, supported community access, respite, prescription and purchase of equipment and home modifications among other things.
Funding is available now and potential applicants are encouraged by the Brain Injury Association to submit their application as soon as possible.
Applications will be reviewed by a funding panel at BIA NSW. As with all applications, the quality and level of detail provided will impact the likelihood of your application being successful. It is important to provide explicit justification for your request and explain how the requested services or items will meet your needs. Sometimes this may seem obvious to you but it may not be apparent to the panel unless it is clearly outlined in the application.
For more information and application forms, please contact Advance Rehab Centre. We can assist you in your application process to BIA as well as other funding bodies.
