          <title>APA Rural Smorgasbord</title>

&lt;p&gt;NSW APA Branch organises Smorgasbord events in regional areas. The forth and last Smorgasbord for 2011 will be&amp;nbsp;held in Orange on Saturday 19 November 2011. This is part of the professional development programme offered&amp;nbsp;through the Central West Regional Group of the APA NSW Branch. The format of the APA Smorgasbords is three, two hour&amp;nbsp;presentations on one day that cover current hot topics, physiotherapy specialities, and emerging research. The&amp;nbsp;Orange Smorgasbord has excellent speakers and topics chosen by their respective APA Regional Group to meet their&amp;nbsp;local needs and also provides a great opportunity to network with local colleagues and make new acquaintances.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Participants can register for one, two or all three sessions on offer as each is individually priced. Non-APA members can&amp;nbsp;attend, but pay significantly higher fees.&amp;nbsp;This event is supported by HESTA and the Orange City Council.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

Homework consists of intensive practicing outside the clinical setting &amp;ndash; once a day on clinic days and twice a day otherwise. The LSVT&amp;reg; BIG program applies the principles and approach of LSVT&amp;reg; LOUD to improving major motor skills, to improve things like gait, limb movement, and balance. The success of the program has been phenomenal and both LSVT&amp;reg; BIG and LSVT&amp;reg; LOUD are now offered by certified therapists at Advance Rehab Centre.&lt;/div&gt;
